Dr. Huynh Wynn Tran
Dr. Huynh Wynn Tran, MD, FACP, FACR, holds American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and has completed Rheumatology and Medical Legal Fellowships. He also has Master's and Diploma qualifications in Dermatology from the United Kingdom. Dr. Tran serves as an associate professor at Western University, California Northstate University, and acts as a preceptor for PharmD residents from the University of Southern California. His research primarily focuses on medical education, pharmacy education, and autoimmune skin disorders, areas in which he has extensively authored, co-authored, and reviewed publications in both English and Vietnamese.
Dr. Tran founded the Wynn Medical Center Clinics in Los Angeles and Orange County, a network of multi-specialty clinics in internal medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, pediatrics, and nephrology. Additionally, he established VietMD.net, a non-profit organization aimed at providing medical education globally in Medical English, Medical Vietnamese, USMLE preparation, and a free medical clinic and pharmacy in Detroit, Michigan.
His contributions to medical education and patient care were recognized when he was named "Preceptor of the Year 2023" by the University of Southern California College of Pharmacy and he was elected to "Dean's Advisory Council" at Western University College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Tran is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and holds professional memberships in various organizations, including the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, Associations of Professors in Dermatology, American College of Rheumatology, American Physician Scientists Association, British Association of Dermatologists, and the British Society for Rheumatology.
Outside of his professional activities, Dr. Tran engages with a broad audience as a health educator through his YouTube channel, which boasts 766k subscribers, and his Facebook page and personal account, where he has amassed over 330k followers. His passion for sharing medical knowledge and health education has taken him traveling to over 20 countries.
